blarg Peaceful, magical, and hypnotic, I very much enjoy this new Balin sound! Favorite track: Inmost Sea.

Evergreen "The World of True Names" is a magical body of work that truly embodies the essence of the true names, of spellcasting, from its Earthsea inspiration. The way each song lulls you into a meditative trance and slowly unfolds felt like I was witnessing some spellcasting before my very eyes. Incredible work, Balin.

about

If you ask me which book or book series has influenced me the most in 2023, the answer is clear for me: Earthsea. What Ursala K. Le Guin has created with her Earthsea novels is special, in every aspect. I don't think I've ever been so flashed by a world as the fantastically magical world of Earthsea....

Having been to many places with my own journey this year, I would now like to pay homage to Le Guin's work, her work helped me to overcome some personal struggles this year.

Of course I have to mention three Earthsea Fantasy Synth artists who not only inspired me while reading the books, but also influenced me a lot while creating this little album: Evergreen and their project Fogweaver (I mean of course), Erreth-Akbe and Lookfar. With music like this, the world of true names will never be forgotten!
