To be honest I have some inner battles to fight right now and this project has always been the best way to fight my problems, something very personal. Whether it's pure escapism or just shouting out ideas and thoughts. This time I'm moving away from the classic D&D and fantasy-based dungeon synth, even if I couldn't completely escape the fantastical elements.
Thank you to everyone who has been involved in the journey of this project. Whether as inspiration, as a good advisor and simply as a good friend. This release is also the first to feature a cover by another artist. Burzum. It's just a song I can listen to on continuous loop when I'm stuck in my own thoughts again - or just want to stare at a bare wall and let go.
And if any of you are going through a hard time right now, for whatever reason, I hope this album is a way for you to escape from it all, just like it was for me. Take care of yourselves...it's dangerous to go alone.
